Your list is on track. My suggestions below:
- Keep joomla up to date - install all updates as they are released (roughly every 6 weeks).
- Keep extensions updated and use reputable ones from the JED.
- Backup your site (suggest using Akeeba Backup, and keep on hand its companion Kickstart for easy restoration (if required)).
- Use Multi-factor authentication in addition to password login or use the new Passkey feature (passwordless login) and .htaccess / .htpasswd for Administrator security. Other security tools can be used as well such as those with the secret key value appended to the URL. The authentication options can be enabled also for front-end users (at their option in their user profile).
